Why or why not?
The liqueur was created and produced in Curaçao from local raw material. Namely bitter orange laraha. There are laraha plantations right here in Curaçao. The production of liqueur was continued according to the traditional system and it was passed from generation to generation.
The pal’i funchi and pal’i lele are artefacts that were created and used in the slavery period. Because of their utility many generations kept using them afterwards.
